Sensory Play for Children Sutherland Shire
Sensory play for babies in the Sutherland Shire provides a comprehensive and educational approach to sensory development from birth up to 12 months.
Munchkin Music & Movement tailored sessions are aimed at creating the perfect building block for developing fun and happy memories, mental and physical stimulation as well as education during the crucial first years of your baby's life.
Sensory play involves activities that engage a baby’s senses with novel and exciting experiences! Studies indicate that sensory play during a baby’s early years strengthens their neurological pathways that are necessary for advanced cognitive functions later on in their development.
It’s widely recognised that engaging in educational sensory activities during early childhood also supports numerous other aspects of development including language acquisition, cognitive and problem-solving skills, social interactions, emotional development, as well as fine and gross motor skill development.
Through these activities, your baby is able to enhance their abilities while also gaining experience in new environments and with new materials.
Designed by a paediatric occupational therapist, our educational sensory play sessions for babies in the Sutherland Shire is highly unique and offers thoughtfully designed activities that promote your baby's sensory stimulation, development and learning.
Our sessions make sure to incorporate most of the sensory points to enhance your baby's experience!

The munchkin sensorium will be held in the activity room at the The Village Kids Toy store, 100 Gymea Bay Rd, Gymea.
1 x booking per child.
Weekly classes starting on Monday 6th May at 11:00am and Thursday 9th May at 11:30am.
This is a single class booking.
